Student Wrong Account Type

For Educators

If one of your students is unable to join your classroom, chances are that they've created the wrong account type and here's how to fix it:

Hi there, are you a student who accidentally created a Solo account or a Teacher account? I'll explain how you can correct that.

If you see Solo in the top left corner of the page

Or if you see Educator at the top left corner of the page, you'll need to delete your account so that you can create a new account as a student to join a class.

First, click on the settings cog icon at the top right corner of the page.

Then, click My Account

Find the Delete Permanently button, and click on it.

You'll need to confirm that you're okay with deleting the account permanently, so click Yes, Delete it now. Then, log out of your account by clicking on the settings icon again, and then log out.

Now you're all set to create a new account as a student to join a class.
