Why are the images in Pixton blurry?

Some third party extensions in your browser work to block content, they may be affecting Pixton.

If you're using Pixton at school and images appear blurry or don't load correctly, a browser extension or school filtering tool may be blocking some of Pixton's content.

To resolve this, contact your school's IT department and ask them to review the settings of any browser extensions or filtering tools that may be blocking Pixton, make any necessary adjustments, and ensure the URLs listed here are allowed: These URLs Should Be Whitelisted.

If you're able to disable the browser extension yourself, follow the instructions below for the browser you're using.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Extensions menu icon (the puzzle piece) in the top-right corner of the window.

  2. Select Manage Extensions from the dropdown menu to open a new settings tab.

  3. Review your active tools. Look for school safety apps, ad blockers, or content moderators.
