Magic Search

Top-Level Search
If you use Magic Search from within the Home tab, Pixton will search across all content categories at once. This makes it easy to build a scene quickly by discovering multiple useful elements from a single search. For example, if you search “girl running in park with dog and ball,” Pixton may return results from multiple categories, such as:
- Backgrounds (parks, outdoor scenes)
- Characters
- Creatures (dogs)
- Props (balls)
- Outfits
- Actions / Poses (running)
- Faces / Expressions
- Handheld props
- Weather (if relevant)
Category-Level Search
You can also use Magic Search within a specific category, and in this case, Pixton will return results only from the category you've searched within:

How Magic Search Works
Because Pixton’s system connects AI suggestions to a fixed library of content, results are designed to surface the closest available matches.
- Enter a word or short description.
- AI suggests related keywords based on your input.
- Pixton matches those keywords to the closest content in its library.
- Relevant results are shown for you to choose from.
Tips for Better Results
Magic Search helps you discover relevant content, but it may not always return an exact match. This can happen when:
- Use clear, simple descriptions
- Try short phrases instead of long sentences
- If results aren’t what you expected, try different wording
- Sometimes a simpler term (for example, “running” instead of “athlete sprinting fast”) will produce better matches.
Magic Search helps you discover relevant content, but it may not always return an exact match. This can happen when:
- a search term is very specific or uncommon
- Pixton’s library does not include that exact concept
- the closest available content only partially matches your description
We are continually improving Magic Search so that it recognizes more terms and produces better results over time.
