How To Create and Assign an Activity

Create and assign activities to your students!

  1. Open the My Activities tab.
  2. Click on Create My First Activity button or New Activity button.
  3. Select a classroom to assign the activity to or continue with no classroom this step to go to a blank Activity.
  4. Choose a topic or leave blank.
  5. Choose Generate An Activity to see one activity or Give Me 3 Ideas button to choose between 3 activities suggestions.
  6. Edit the activity to your needs.
  7. Click on the Save button.

Note: Once an activity is overdue it will be available to the students for 3 days starting the date it's due, after this they no longer have the option to create or assign a comic to the activity.

Are you ready to create activities for your classes? Let me help!To begin, click on the My Activities tab at the top.If you don't have any Activities created yet then click on the Create My First Activity button. Once you create them, the Activities will come up under this tab.Use the dropdown menu to select the class you want to assign the activity to, or click " Continue with no classroom" if you want to do that later.Enter a topic, or leave it blank and click "Generate an Activity" or "Give Me 3 Ideas".The activity maker will generate activity suggestions aligned to standards and reading programs based on subject, grade level and location. Click the X to remove any grades or subjects the activity shouldn't apply to.Clicking "Give Me 3 Ideas" will suggest 3 activities with curriculum standards alignment. Select one to start editing. Clicking "Generate an Activity" will generate an activity right away, which you can edit to your liking.Here you can edit any text, choose the numbers of panels required, and choose whether or not to limit the content available.Lower on the page you can include writing prompts and vocab words, choose whether to include a rubric ans set a due date.On the right side you'll see Standards Alignment info and other related resources to enrich the activity.You can assign the same activity to another class by opening the 3 dot menu at the top and duplicate the activity. Then assign the new copy to another class. You can also Archive or Delete the activity in this menu.Once you save, the activity will show in the My Activities tab. Red activities are active, black activities don't have a due date set and purple activities have expired.
