Class Photo and Student Avatars for Classmates

You can decide whether or not your students see certain content in the Comic Maker.

By default, your students can use their classmates' avatars in their comics to add to their storytelling, however if for any reason you don't want to allow that, we provide an option to disable that feature.

Disabling the Class Photo feature prevents students from viewing or using their classmates’ avatars in the comic maker. In your Classroom Details, select “Disable class photo and access to classmate avatars” to restrict students from seeing and adding each other’s avatars to comics.

How To Disable Your Class Photo and Access to Classmates' Avatars:

  1. Click View Class to enter your class.
  2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right and then select the Edit Classroom Details option.
  3. Skip to Options for student comic maker, then Check the box "Disable class photo and access to classmate avatars".
